Psalms 108 / 150

  1. Resolving to Sing Praises to the Lord

    (Ps 7:17; Ps 9:1-2; Ps 30:12; Ps 57:7-11; Ps 103:1-5; Ps 104:1-35; Ps 105:1-5; Ps 106:1-5; Ps 138:1-8; Ps 145:1-21; Ps 146:1-10; Ps 147:1-20; Ps 148:1-14; Ps 149:1-9; Ps 150:1-6)
    1O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
  2. 2Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
  3. 3I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
  4. 4For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
  5. 5Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
  6. 6That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.
  7. 7God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
  8. 8Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
  9. 9Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.
  10. 10Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
  11. Trusting in God to Overcome Enemies

    (Ps 3:5-8; Ps 18:29-45; Ps 27:1-14; Ps 44:4-8; Ps 59:1-17; Ps 60:5-12; Ps 71:14-24; Ps 83:1-18; Ps 108:6-13; Ps 144:1-15)
    11Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
  12. 12Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
  13. 13Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
