    (Ps 77:11-20; Ps 81:5-7; Ps 105:26-45; Ps 106:7-13; Ex 12:1-51; Ex 13:17-22; Ex 14:1-31; Ex 15:1-21; Num 10:35-36; Deut 5:15; Deut 6:12; Deut 7:18-19; Josh 24:5-7; Neh 9:9-11; Isa 11:15-16; Isa 43:16-17; Isa 51:9-10; Jer 16:14-15; Jer 23:7-8; Mic 7:15)
    1When Israel came out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of foreign tongue,
  2. 2Judah became God's sanctuary, Israel his dominion.
  3. 3The sea looked and fled, the Jordan turned back;
  4. 4the mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs.
  5. 5Why was it, O sea, that you fled, O Jordan, that you turned back,
  6. 6you mountains, that you skipped like rams, you hills, like lambs?
  7. 7Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,
  8. 8who turned the rock into a pool, the hard rock into springs of water.
